Monday didn’t go so well. We took the Marlins moneyline and the under in the same game, and the Marlins lost 14-2. When things like that happen, you look bad, however, I am still keeping an eye on the Marlins at Cubs game again tonight, but still waiting on some information.
The Marlins could be good candidates to bounce back as a big underdog. When the Cubs have come off of win where they have scored 10 runs or more this season they are 0-4 in the next game. The Miami Marlins are 3-1 after losing a game where they allowed more than 10 runs.
Pacific Coast League stats are often offensively inflated, however the Cubs could possibly be starting Jen-Ho Tseng tonight. Tseng is 0-4 with a 8.04 earned run average in six starts this season at AAA Iowa. If he does indeed start tonight, take a good look at the Marlins to bounce back tonight.
After going 0-2 yesterday, overall we are now 40-32 on the season for Major League Baseball.

Detroit Tigers (14-20) at Texas Rangers (14-23) 8:05 pm EST
Projected Starters: Tigers: Fiers (2-2, 5.00 ERA) at Rangers: Minor (3-1, 4.36 ERA)
The Detroit Tigers have certainty had their troubles in Texas lately, last night the Tigers fell to the Rangers 7-6 despite Detroit’s best pitcher, Michael Fulmer getting the start.
Texas is now 10-3 in their last 13 games against the Tigers. The Tigers roster is hurting right now due to injuries, led by Miguel Cabrera who is currently out with a hamstring injury.
The Rangers projected starter, Mike Minor is 3-1 with a 4.36 earned run average on the season, with all six starts coming against winning teams, Houston, Seattle, Toronto and Boston. Minor is also 2-1 with a 2.86 ERA at home this season.
Tigers projected starter, Mike Fries is 0-3 with a 8.55 earned run average against Texas in his career.
With the bullpens being poor on both teams, I think the current -160 price tag is a lot of juice to lay on the Rangers, but I think the Rangers can win by more than a run and provide much better value at a lower risk.
