New York Mets (Syndergaard 0-0, 6.00 ERA) 1:10 pm EST
The Mets are off to a nice 5-1 start, and will now look to carry that momentum over to their home opener. Noah Syndergaard is the listed starter for New York. In 2018, Syndergaard was 8-1 with a 2.87 ERA at home and 5-1 with a 2.26 ERA in day games.
Noah Syndergaard did face the Nationals already this season on March 30, the Mets won the game 11-8, even though Noah did not have his best stuff allowing four earned runs and seven hits in six innings.
Stephen Strasburg was the opposing pitcher in the March 30 game against the Mets. Strasburg allowed seven hits and four earned runs over six innings as well.
The Mets finished 23rd in runs scored and 24th in OPS in all of MLB for the 2018 season. There’s along way to go but the Mets are off to a better start offensively this season, ranking 5th in MLB in runs scored and 12th in OPS.
The Mets look improved from last year while the Nationals seem to have taken a step back. The Nationals will also be with out their star Trea Turner who is on the 10 day disabled list.

Atlanta has won eight straight home games against right handed starters.
I definitely expect for both bullpen, that are struggling to have an impact on this game.
The Braves bullpen has a 5.79 ERA on the season, ranking 27th in MLB.
The Cubs bullpen has a 6.75 ERA ranking 29th in MLB.
The OVER is 4-0-1 in Cubs games this season.
The OVER is 3-1-1 in Braves games this season.

Los Angeles Angels (Harvey 0-0, 3.00 ERA) 10:07 pm EST
Not a great starting pitching match-up on paper even though Harvey clearly had the better first start.
Coming off of a series win against Houston, The Rangers are 4-2 despite being the underdog in every game they have played so far.
The Angels had Wednesday off and will be looking to get on track in their home opener. The Angels are 1-5 overall scoring just 13 runs so far on the season and hitting .178 as a team with just one home run.
Texas has scored 34 runs and belted 10 home runs already this season.
The first week of the season was good to the underdogs, and with the value I have to take the Rangers here who look like the better team at this point.
