I’ve dived into the Best MLB Player Props and matchups for Saturday. All the player/prop odds are not available yet, but here are some players and props I will be targeting for Saturday, April 5 in MLB.
Yordan Alvarez (HOU) is 5 for 8 (.625) with two home runs off Bailey Ober in his career.
Alvarez over 1.5 H+R+RBI is a strong play.
Riley Greene (DET) is 2 for 5 lifetime off Davis Martin with no strikeouts. Greene is also red-hot, reaching at least three bases in four of his last five games.
Riley Greene OVER 1.5 Total Bases is a strong play.
Nathaniel Lowe (WAS) is 4 for 7 lifetime off Eduardo Rodriguez, and he’s off to a hot start this season.
Lowe Over 0.5 Hits is a strong play.
Matt Olson (ATL) has reached base six times in career plate appearances against Cal Quantrill. After a slow start, Olson has now heated up, going 4 for 13 with five RBI in his last three games.
Olson Over 1.5 H+R-RBI is a play.
Aaron Nola (PHI)
Active Dodgers hitters have 212 career at-bats against Nola, and he has 53 strikeouts (1 every 4 ABs). Nola struggled in his first start but still picked up eight strikeouts in 5.1 innings. Dating back to last season and including the playoffs, Nola has recorded at least seven strikeouts in six straight games.
Anything in the OVER 5.5-7.0 Strikeouts for Nola is a play.
