The UCLA Bruins are ranked among the worst teams in the country in almost every major defensive category.
UCLA ranks 127th in the nation in total defense allowing 523 yard per game. Only Connecticut, Tulsa and East Carolina are worse.
UCLA also ranks 124th in the nation allowing 40.5 points per game, and 129th allowing 313 rushing yards per game. Last week the Bruins allowed 457 rushing yards to Arizona.
Offensively led by Josh Rosen, the Bruins rank second in the nation in passing yards per game, eight in total offense and 17th in scoring with 39.5 points per game. There have been at least 77 points scored in five of UCLA’s six games this season.
The Oregon Ducks should have no problem running the ball on the Bruins. Oregon comes in averaging 244 yards per game. The Ducks weakness is definitely in the passing game. I am well aware that Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert is not ready to be back yet. That means that freshman Braxton Burmeister is expected to get another start. Burmeister threw for only 23 yards last week against Stanford. Question marks around Burmeister is one of the biggest reason I feel this total is set at “only” 67 points. However, UCLA did give up 47 points to an Arizona team last week that only attempted 13 passes for the game.
Defensively Oregon ranks 98th in the nation in passing yards allowed a game. Oregon has allowed over 35 points per game in their four PAC-12 games this season.
I expect UCLA to have no problem throwing on Oregon, while the Ducks should have no problem running on the Bruins. I am taking OVER 67 points.

There have been less than 63 combined points scored in just one Louisville game this season. That game took place on Sept. 23 when the Cardinals defeated Kent State 42-3. In case you’re wondering, Kent State is ranked dead last in the nation (130th) averaging only 11 points per game.
Last week Louisville gave up 45 points to the Boston College Eagles who rank 114th in the nation in scoring.
The Under is 4-0-1 in Florida State games this season, but the Cardinals defense rates lower than any of the Seminoles previous opponents this season. Louisville, ranks 89th in the nation in total defense and 85th in scoring defense.
Last season these two teams combined for 83 points (Louisville 63 Florida State 20). Expect more than 59 points to be scored in this game.
Get Sports Strong Pick: OVER 59 points
